I want to put my son in his 1st swim class next month. Do I have to use a "swim diaper"? I bought 1 Charlie Banana swim diaper but it looks small, almost speedo like
. If I put this on him, can he wear just the swim diaper or do I need to put on a pair of swim shorts over them? |

My motherease swim diaper looks like a little speedo, too. I would put some swim shorts on my DS, though I would be tempted to want to show off that swim diaper.

I generally use a cute bathing suit over the swim diaper.

Oh, but to answer your question, yes, he can wear just the swim diaper.

You can just use the swim diaper, but I love the tiny lil swim trunks, so I put them over our swim diapers.

Mine just go in the swim diaper by itself (Mother-ease). I think the speedo look is cute!

My son wears trunks over his swim diaper if we're at a public pool. I might be paranoid but I'm also always scared some anti-cloth person will say that he needs to be wearing a Lil Swimmers or whatever disposable swim diaper.

I just use a Bummi's Swimmi by itself. Never had anyone say anything. But he is still so young (5 months). I guess when he is walking around, I will probably use something over top.

According to my silly OCD pool regulations I have to put a swim suit over my swim diapers :( but they'd be fine on their own.
