I want to work my way up to 9/10 servings a day.
To start I would like to go with 4 servings of ea. a day & increase that by 1 serving ea. every week or so. I'm starting small It is the holidays after all.

I think starting w/4 is good--for me it's more a "range" of 3-5 for now, adding in when I can and trying to remember more often.

I think 4 sounds good too. I really need to work on this. I like fruits and vegetables but I don't buy enough different ones and need some different ways to prepare/serve them.

I am going to start with 4 too. I'm also going to try to make it 4 real servings of f & v, not just using the V8 juices an stuff. I figure that will help boost my f & v intake :)

haha so I might have hit 4 today. It depends if I can count a route 44 sonic strawberry slush as a fruit.

OK I'm in: 3x fruit (easy) 3x veggies (hard)
For me it has been all about convenience veggies, e.g. Bagged baby carrots. |

I need to do this! My goal is 5-6 fruits and veggies.
Today will be: 4, maybe 5 if I make a good choice for my after school snack!

After a slow start of 2 cookies for breakfast and a jr. roast beef sandwich, mozz. sticks, and pepsi for lunch (arby's), I have done much better!
I had 2 pears for a snack and then for dinner I had pita w/hummus, baba ganoush, tomatoes, onions, and feta--perfect! I got in THREE veggies at dinner and am totally stoked about that. I've hit my 5 for the day and I may yet have cereal w/pomegranate or a couple clementines for my nighttime snack.

How'd everyone do w/their fruits and veggies today?
I had a banana and then, ahem, 6 or 7 servings worth of spinach and a few other greens. ![]() Probably that was a really bad idea, but it was yummy, with some butter and cream cheese! That's one way of getting in your servings... |

I had today, vegetable- fresh baby carrots- part of the breakfast, lunch green salad with grape tomatoes, dinner- pea/carrot mix- boiled, served with butter ;) fruits- 2 oranges, 1 apple, 1 banana. |

man, i suck. i had a huge salad today but that would be the only veggie or fruit that entered my body. maybe i should shop the produce aisle FIRST instead of last, when i am spent and ready to check out. both physically/ mentally and with my groceries.
how do you all buy produce?

I am jumping on the f&v wagon! I seriously need more veggies in my life and could do better on fruits, too. Since I really eat almost no veggies right now, my goal is 4 a day, 2 servings of each. The more I eat, the more DH and DS will eat...and we all need it!
