Sounds like you guys are doing well! I'm back from my trip and I actually lost a pound or 2! I didn't end up running at all, but we did so much walking (back and forth to the beach plus 2 amusement parks) and I wore D pretty much all day everyday. I really need to work hard to keep up the momentum now that I'm home.

Hoping to join back in here soon!  Our company leaves in 2 days.  I'm still hovering between 132-133 so not horrible, but if I could get to the gym on a regular schedule I think I could easily get back to 130.  Hope you are all still doing well!

I know, crazy, huh? LOL I'm hoping this time to be able to maintain 130 or below.  My goals keep getting a little more lax each time I bounce back up a few pounds.  I'm finally below 132 today!  Inlaws are on the road back home so now as long as life doesn't get too crazy with the move, I should be able to crack down and work at this again.  DD has the stomach flu so I was up all night with her.  Just hoping now that we can all avoid it.  I haven't been to the gym in a week because I had a cold last week that I was trying to fight off.  Need to get us all healthy again so I can get back on track.

Didn't eat much today because I'm a little nervous that I may end up with the flu too, so I was taking it easy on the eating for now.

L- crackers, licorice
D- grilled chicken, corn on the cob, green tea

Just had to pop in and say Woo Hoo!  I am back down to 130.  OK, so it is really thanks to having borderline stomach flu for 3-4 days, but I'll take it.  My goal is just to not gain it back which is going well so far.  My appetite has not really returned full force yet.  We are going out of town this weekend though so that could be a challenge with lots of eating out.  There is a 2 mile loop at our hotel though, so I am going to get up and walk that each morning we are there.

How's everyone else doing?

Great Laurie! Sorry about being sick though :(

I'm managing to maintain and keep the lbs I've lost off, but no more progress here. I've been really bad about exercise since I've been home. I was running the track at the high school before but now that school has started I can't do that anymore, so I need to find a new place to run. The problem is most of the choices around here are pretty rough trails, and that makes running with a 6 month old in the jogger a challenge. I'm planning to start a bikram yoga class when Z starts preschool next week if I can get my mom to watch just D. Really looking forward to that :) Oh and my mom and I made a deal to lose weight together, so we can support each other. Our first goal is 5 lbs in the next 6 weeks, which I think is doable if I crack down (no more late night snacking on graham crackers and nutella! ).

Laurie, yay for a loss! Hope you can maintain it even while being out of town. That is tough.

Christina, that class sounds fun! Hooray for a helpful mom.

I got back to the gym today. I'm really struggling with this part of the C25K. It's going a bit fast for me. I had to repeat week 3 and I might have to repeat week 4. Thought I was going to pass out after running today so not sure if I need to eat a bit more or what. The scale was down to 156, so 6 lbs in 3-4 weeks. Not bad. I'm doing really well with my eating. I'd love to be losing faster but don't want to hurt my milk supply and losing slow and steady is better I suppose! I'm impatient to get back in my normal clothes though. Still have 20 lbs to go!

This thread is just what I need! I went for my first run today since Clark was born. Well, since before then because I was only up to a slow waddle at the end of my pregancy :P It was a struggle, I don't get very far. I still feel proud that I put my sneakers on and hit the pavement.

BAD food day here... the low points were Starbucks (but got to meetup with Jess/pessimistically so that was good) and I definitely went overboard with the chocolate.  Again. Embarrassed  But I felt so guilty that DH and I did Jillian Michaela' 30 Day Shred Level 3... man it was tough!  It was the first time DH did it with me and he was surprised what a good work out it was!  We still have to have dinner... tortilla soup (broth based and I'll try to go easy on the tortillas) and I'll have an apple for my dessert.  Overall day on the mediocre/bad side.

ugh. terrible.  I'm 10 pounds over and I thought I would NEVER be one of "those" women.  Starting C25K today.  I don't care if it's 102 outside.  Maybe some of this extra fat will melt off.

I ran today.  Actually ran!  I'm 5 months post-pregnancy and I'm still having some issues, but I went for 2 miles.  I'm icing down and there's an epsom salt soak in my near future.  We'll see how tomorrow goes.

Ok... I need some accountability. Pre dd I was 123-127. My lowest weight post dd was 125 and I was around 127 this fall until pre-Christmas I kinda lost it and gained a little, ought I would lose it quick but I gained more and after our disney trip with so much food and sweets the scale said 135 today, highest since right after I had dd I think my body was also not nearly as toned and tight after dd as it was after ds. I want to feel good on a bathing suit this summer, we live are at the lake 5 days a week so its a bummer to feel crappy. I have given up desserts for lent and haven't seen a change because of portion size and snacking.

Today is typical and I need to change it
Egg, cheese, English muffin sandwich, a few bites of ds French toast
Samples at Costco
Salad with chicken, cheese, olives, tomato, carrot, dressing, some chips with guacamole
Apple
Pizza we got at Costco, take and bake. Two slices
Glass of strawberry milk.. Raw milk blended with fresh strawberries

Don't even want to know the calorie count here!

I need to work on my diet too, I feel like I've been in a downward spiral ever since Christmas! If I could lose this 5 lbs of extra fat sitting on top of all my muscle, you might actually be able to see that I have it! Tongue I hate winter time, I think if I was out and about moving around being active all day and not in the house with food I would lose the last few pounds.

Are you exercising at all?
