    Posted: 10 Apr 2012 at 6:51pm
Yesterday I washed our longies, today it was time for some covers. Here they are all 12 pieces ;) Some eucalan wool wash in eucalyptus scent, some wool bar...and lovespell lanolin. I recently started with a spin cycle, oh....so easy, and it saves so much time (plus my dry, clean towels LOL
Anyone else is having wool wash day?

The interlock ones I usually wash in my wash machine. The other wool, I hand wash...and recently I started with the spin cycle (instead of squeezing in the towel...saves me  my clean towels, I have way to much wool to squeeze lol)
The lovespell lanolin I buy from Woollybottoms.

If you are just starting out...I would recommend some soakers for night (kissas, aristocrat, disana)
You can also try some wraps during the day or night (loveybums,  little Beetle, imse vimse)
Some less expensive options are recycled wool (woollybottoms for example) You cantry their footies, longies and soakers they all are great.
Wool interlock is easy to care for (I wash mine in the washing machine) and great for summer. Some of my favorites are loveybums, royal buns, wcw and twee.

Do you have a front loader or top loader, Kinga? Mine is a top--do you think the middle piece would agitate the knits too much. I would be so sad if I lost a woolie Ouch
But, as pretty much every day is wash day around here (I wash a few pieces in a small sink at a time), right now I have a plum disana, and 2 wcw soakers in a pink sugar bath.

Sondra, I have top loader...I put mine with some towels, I am not sure if that helps, but I didn't notice anything yet. I did it few times already...with different wool.

OMG OMG OMG! I LOVE those cute little skirts. Now I am going to hope for a girl because those are just too precious!

Thanks a bunch. I'm feeling tons braver about the wool. I'm 99% certain I will be getting some (maybe just two) from the start.
