Well I was so jealous of all the chick pics lately and ours don't come in till May 7th so I thought we'd go to TSC today and pick some up and what started as 6 chicks turned to 12 but I'm still not up the total I had before so its good.  Hubby actually picked up the second set of six for me:)  So we now have 1 Amber Sex Link, 2 Golden Wyandottes, 1 Black Sex Link, 1 Tetra Tint, 4 Pullets, 3 Red Pullets.  I'll try to get pics up tomorrow, it was too dark tonight but we are enjoying every minute of them and the kids are super excited.  They named all of them already.

Maisie, Peanut Butter, Jelly, Hunter, Flicka, Katie, Tender, Nugget, Drumstick, Daisy, Clara, and Minnie.

They had a blast picking out names for them!!! So cute!

Never heard of this one either, gonna do some research on it.  The only difference I notice is a little coloring difference in the face and some of them had some spots on them thats it other than that they look like the yellow fluffy pullet ones.

Here's some pics finally!!! They all survived and did well through the night.  Mia and Mandy got introduced to them this morning and I told them mine and suprisingly enough my Mandy(lab mix) didn't lunge into them:)
Here's the first six The tetra tinted is the one closest to the bottom, the one behind her is Peanut butter (golden laced wyandotte), then flicka (the yellow one just said pullet on the outside), on next to her is Hunter (Black sex link), behind flicka is Peanut butter the other golden laced wyandotte and last but not least is Maisie my amber sex link (my favorite)

Maisie up close:) Isn't she so sweet!
Then there was more!!! The yellow fluffy pullet ones I can barely tell apart now which makes me sad! This wasn't quite all 12 in the pic though.

They're so cute!  We've been fighting off the urge all day to go to TSC and grab a few if they have them too.  At this point we'd be happy with whatever they might have that's a pullet. LOL  We're going later so who knows.  I'm so chick crazy at this point i'm ready to risk divorce to bring a half dozen home.  My DD loved the name "drumstick."

Tetra Tint is a newer hybrid.  I think they're crossed with Leghorn and will lay white eggs.  I have a friend who has them and she seams to like them.  Last time i tried searching for them i couldn't find anything about them.  Stromberg's has them under a different name.  They supply TSC my mom told me but they sell them under a different name in the store than they do online.  But the pics and descriptions are identical.  Here's the link: http://www.strombergschickens.com/product/California-White-Chicks/white-egg-layers
