DD has been in undies full time for a while now, but the last few weeks has started peeing in her bed at night.  We were just using some trainer undies and fleece jammies but she is spending the weekend with my sister so we got a box of Pampers Pull UPs.  Gag, I hate the smellPinch  We've used them for a few nights now, dd likes them because they have Dora on themLOL

I'm using seventh generation sposies for night....I can't find a cloth combo that doesn't leak (I don't do nighttime changesEmbarrassed)
So let them be little
Cause they're only that way for a while
Give 'em hope, give them praise
Give them love every day
Let 'em cry, let 'em giggle
Let 'em sleep in the middle
Oh but let them be little

We're using them at night and when we're out because MIL bought DS2 sposies while we were visiting last month. She was buying a pack every time she went to the store, 3-4x per week. So now we have a couple hundred sposies just sitting there. I'm hoping to save some for our 1200 drive at Christmas but the rest have to be used up since I know she'll just buy more while we're there! I also use pull-ups for the older kids just in case they have a nighttime accident but I don't feel nearly as guilty about that one since they don't pee every night and they can be worn the next night if they stay dry.

I used one the other night, because she had a rashy poop and I wanted to catch it BEFORE it blistered this time... Unhappy  Before that we used them for about 4 days to clear up the previous set of ammonia burn blisters.  I use them when I want to pull out the 'big guns' diaper ointment and not worry about ruining my precious cloth!

We use disposables when we're out.  I don't like messing with cloth when I'm on the go.  We've used some NB disposables on Nickolas during home time as well, mostly because I didn't feel up to doing much the first few days I was home.  Plus we were given a ton of them as gifts...might as well use them.

We have been using them for nights the past week because i have had 2 sick kids and I have been sick.  I just haven't felt like fussing with fluff or changing the sheets in the A.M. when i don't need to.  We typically only use sposies when i am behind on CD or regular laundry, DH puts DD to bed, or we are out late visiting and I put DD's jammies on before we leave (fluff doesn't fit safely in a carseat)

I am sometimes using them.  Not so much with DS unless we're going on a long outing and I just don't feel like carrying two stuffed full diaper bags for the 2 kiddos.  But with Corinne, she is in the very early stages of PLing and only goes through a few diapers a day (I guess maybe 4 during the day and 1 for over night).  So naps and overnight she is often in a sposie.  There are a few reasons why that is working for us.  1. I was getting a little overwhelmed with diaper laundry for 2 and having her in a few sposies cuts down on laundry a little.  2. I have only been using pf's on her with a flat pad-folded for a doubler, and they are a PITA to take off to put her on the potty all the time, sposies are just easier to get on and off than pf's  3. Can't afford trainers.  I really don't feel too bad about it because we still aren't using that many and if using a few can help me keep my sanity, its worth it.  I'm still very happy with all the money and landfill space I have saved by using CD's for the last 23 months.

Ds is in sposies full time now. Four months ago he outgrew cloth and I was reluctant to invest in bigger sizes b/c I didn't know how long it would be before he started potty learning. Now I see I should have made the investment, but it's too late. He won't have anything to do with cloth. I'm trying to find a really trim option to try and coax him back, but I'm not sure what to try and we don't have a lot of money for experimenting.

OK, I'll confess: we're in sposies full time right now and I don't like it. It's kind of a dumb reason, but when we buy sposies to have on hand for Sundays at church, we only buy the big Costco box of Kirkland diapers. DD is having a growth spurt and she is quickly outgrowing her size 3 disposables and we still have half the club pack left, eek! So as not to have them go to waste completely (or the money we paid for that matter) we decided to put her in sposies full time until they're gone, probably about 3 weeks. I'm a little relieved for a cloth break, and I am also going to add some things to my stash to try when we switch back, but mostly I cringe at all the waste we are putting out while she's in full time sposies.

Guilty!  DD had a terrible rash that turned out to be yeast and I didn't want to risk damage to the dipes with the creams we had to use.  We should be out of them today though so that's good.
