Alright mamas let be honest who is using sposies (at all) right now!

I amEmbarrassed. I am so frustrated by our nights that i have resorted back to sposies at night. I was so proud of myself because we had been sposie free for 4 months, but we have been done in. The only thing that makes me feel a little better is i am getting them for 3.68 a package with a coupon and i am buying the natural ones. So until i get my nights figured out we are sposie users again.

Shame on you. Just kidding No shame in using sposies.

I haven't used them since making the switch almost 18 months ago; but during our move my friend who was helping watch the kids at her house put them on DS. I could not stand the smell and she said that he was walking all funny when she first put them on him

I was full-time for a few weeks during my first trimester.  Then, I was nights-only for a while too here and there.  Just this week, I'm about back into full-time CDs.  It was getting to the point where I had to rinse too much for the night dipes, and didn't like using that much water.  I get Earth's Best from Amazon.  They are a bit pricey but don't leak gel onto D, even when he really fills them.

i am at the moment.  we HAD to use sposies on our ELEVEN DAY drive down from alaska.  i got ariana back into cloth as soon as possible, but i still have a few sposies left over, so i am using them at night until they are gone.

i do when i get bored or need a break or want T to wear a really cute outfit that her butt and cloth diaper are too big for otherwise. i don't think it is a big deal to use them once in a while unless you are just totally against it.

We are using sposies at night since Sara is in undies during the day.  It's not worth messing with the laundry for one dipe per day....

We do.  Any time he looks red, has too much to drink, or i just don't feel like messing with cloth.  But we're down to nights only.  We also use Pampers trainers when we leave the house.  I'm considering giving up entirely as the 1 dipe per day is getting annoying.  Even though i rinse and hang them to dry they still stink things up when the furnace kicks on.  And i feel like i'm waisting a lot of hot water, electric, and time for loads of 3-4 diapers.  If he didn't prefer his "night fuzzies" we'd probably have given up entirely by now.

I am at night.  It is darn hard to get cloth up here and the BG's (locally recommended for night time) are too stinky!  DD wakes up and SCREAMS like a banshee if she is even a little bit damp.

We bought a huge pack of overnight sposies from diapers.com while we were trying to come up with a new night time solution. When the package arrived they had accidently sent us an enormous box of pampers cruisers in his size as well. When we contacted them about the error they said to go ahead and keep it (it was worth over $40!). So since we have a plethera of sposies now we just use them for whatever whenever. Usually if he's going somewhere with DH he's in sposies because DH cant remember to change often enough. DH also puts him in sposies if he's putting him to bed because he doesnt want to be responsible for putting together a bed time diaper. Kenny is always with me so he is NEVER in sposiesBig%20smile

We were using nighttime sposies for about 2 months, but then ds started sleeping better, and wetting more! If I have to deal with wet jammies, he might as well be in cloth. So now we are using pockets at night and it seems to be going well. We will probably use sposies again on long trips, though.

we usually use sposies outside the house. i don't like hauling cloth around. and if he's gonna be riding in the car for any length of time i feel better about the dry feel of sposies. curiously DH is more inclined to take him out in cloth!

but for #2 i'm probably going to do cloth outside the house during the EBF phase cause of the containment issues.

We've been in them for a while. First we were out of town for 10 days and didn't take cloth with us and then when we got back he developed impetigo. So, while we're on the antibiotics and using the cream, I'm not putting him back in cloth. Just a few more days, though!

I am ashamed to admit I haven't even tried cloth with this LO at night.  I just don't have the desire to figure it out.  I am going to try my flip inserts though if they do well during the day.

I'm using sposies at night because I can't seem to contain her major pee!  I ordered some more doublers, so when I get them, I'll try night time again, but it makes her bum so huge that I don't even have sleepers that really fit her when I use the majorly layered butt that she needs to get through the night right now!  I also broke down and bought a box of sposies that I saw on clearance at our local grocery store....$25...about the best sale price I ever see around here is usually a lil more then that...I forgot to use my $3 coupon *dumb* but we're going on a 10-12 day cross country car trip in a few weeks, and when I saw the cheap box of diapers I decided I wasn't going to take cloth with me for the trip...I feel a little guilty....but I'm ignoring it :D

I'm not ashamed we are nighttime sposie users. My little ones just get so red and rashy if they are in cloth at night. And we are taking a trip in a few weeks, we'll be using sposies then too.

ds only wears a diaper at night and naps and he's in sposies. he actually won't wear cloth anymore - he refuses! "i want a paper diaper, mommy!" it's actually the covers that he doesn't like, probably the elastic on his legs.

dd is getting molars, i'll let you imagine what that has done to her "output". normally she is very regular and routine w/r/t that, but teething throws her for a loop, she does what we like to call a "stealth poop" and sits in it until her butt is blistered. and then she'll keep it up over a day or so until her rash is so bad it needs the barrier of original desitin (40% zinc oxide). so she's in sposies now.

I use them for the babysitter that comes 2-3 times a month. I used one last night just because he was grouchy when I was putting him to bed and it was easier. I am not frequently tempted to use them, but I don't feel bad when I do! A mama's gotta do what a mama's gotta do!!

We use one a day for night time.  I have tried many different bedtime cloth combinations for DS but he is a SUPER SOAKER and will wake up after about five hours if wet.  I am down to about 4 disposables right now so I will have to go buy another pack soon.  We use to use 7th Generation but the tabs kept falling off so know we are using the Huggies Pure & Natural (only bc we get the $3.00 coupons in the mail) .  I know the inside is pretty much the same and the others in the Huggies line of disposable but they don't smell awful like the others.  In the past I would have to air out new Huggies for about a week before using them.

If anyone can offer rave reviews for a different brand of sposies that hold up well overnight, in size 5, please PM me.

I own natural bums and I will confess that until we got our night time absorbancy issue figured out sposies where way eazyer.  However there is nothing like reusing a diaper vs throwing it away once you have the wettness issue down:o)  But there is nothing worse then a dripping child at 2:00am and wet sheet in the morning when you don't.  I found that the Happy Hempys with a hemp and microfiber insert and a good wool cover did the trick for us.

She was sposie free until her last pudge-growth spurt    Magically one day her small BG's were leaving huge marks on her so I ordered up some medium Osocozys through co-op....that too about a week and half to get here. Next co-op I'm just gonna order then next size and not wait.

We've been using them for nights for a while now. I hope that once I wean DS from his night bottle that we can go back to CDs. Dh also uses them if the pockets are all dirty...and we both use them if I have been to slow with diaper laundry.

I can tell you what NOT to try. The new Fisher Price nighttime ones are weak. They don't even hold as much as the "regular" Huggies we'd been using before.

We just started two days ago doing it at night only.  Didn't know how much of a relief one sposie a day per kids could be!  Cooper uses Huggies Overnights and I like Pampers Sensitive for Margaret.  Huggies don't fit well on her.

I use sposies occasionally on the weekends so I can get away with just packing 1 diaper bag.  When we're going to be out of the house for most of the day I'd have to pack a second diaper bag to hold enough CDs for our 2 LOs and I am not willing to pack 2 diaper bags.
