We got this diaper in the mail today and I hurried to put it on DS to see if it fits and it fit w/ a bunch of growing room. We didnt give it a trial run yet as we are PLing but will use it for naptimes. Assuming it works well if we were still in diapers full time I would be selling more diapers and get a few of these as I LOVE them so far!!!!
BTW this is w/ a red edge GMD and he is on the 3rd snap in and the 2nd snap in on the other side so he has alot of growing room.

I'm a little confused. are you using the flip "cover" with prefolds inside? It's meant to have a disposable insert part, right? Are you using that part as well? Can you buy just the cover part? I'm so out of the loop on this new flip fad! lol.

Right now they come w/ an organic cotton insert or a stay dry one I think. Seems I have heard talk about a sposie liner too though. Our organic insert is prepping so I used a red edge GMD in it and that fits great. I will try to get pictures tomorrow. Even though we are PLing I think he needs one or two more for naps LOL and even though he is a boy I have always wanted a Zinnia color BG |

Cotton babies is selling flip covers without any insert on their website. I have a Zinnia with the stay dry insert, but I just ordered covers in moonbeam and in ribbit(gotta have one of each for DD)

I will try to get some before nap since that is the only time we use it. I did order the other two and hope to sell some diapers to pay for them. I will try to remember to compare the two tonight

Oooooh. I just did a little more research on the flip diapers - they look really COOL!!! For some reaosn I thought they ONLY had the disposable inserts, and I was sort of wondering why they were getting so much attention around here (not that pin mamas can't use disposable products, of course, but you know what I mean).
Anyhow, what a neat product! In theory, this could actually make for a pretty inexpensive stash, especially if you supplemented with prefolds or flats in the flip cover. And the disposable inserts are actually pretty reasonably priced - about the same as brand name sposies! I'm glad I finally caught up with the rest of you, but of course, now I really want some . . . lol
