Welcome to Creative Corner! This is the place to share tips,
pics of recent projects, and ask questions about all things creative (not just sewing and knitting!)

Think of this as the amateur sports forum. If you intend to sell, market (for example, naming a product), and bring in money with the item you are working on, you are a pro and your post belongs in the WAHM section (the pro sports forum . ) If you are making the item simply out of enjoyment and do not now or ever in the future intend to make money off of the item, not limited to the one shown, but ones like it in the future, it may be posted in the Creative Corner.

Posting business types of threads in Creative Corner is considered a violation of our forum posting policy (specifically rule #2.)

Browsing around I found this blog with some great tutorials- especially for baby stuff. You have to scroll down the page a bit and the tutorials are listed on the right. I was looking for a crib sheet pattern, they have a great one and I really want to try to make the baby blocks and baby shoes too. Oooh, or the soft basket- that would be great to store toys in! Too bad they show it full of sposies! LOLThought some of you might enjoy this!

Edited to fix link.

What a great bunch of ideas!  The pattern there is the one I used for my beanbag chair.

Clicking that link has already helped me out! I looked at the splat mat tutorial, and it had a tip for sewing laminated fabrics without a teflon foot - put painters tape on the foot and the top of the sewing plate (with a hole for the feed dogs - they have a picture). Yay! I need to sew some PUL.
