I am still working on weaving the stinkin' ends in, though I haven't really had too much for crafty time this weekend. I also got a few rows done on the market bag on the ride to and from church.

So, I just flipped my calendar to November and realized two things. One, the kids don't have school tomorrow (conferences). And two, Tyner is going to be six on Wednesday!!!!

Carrie: You're really making me rethink the brown and orange longies I have planned for Zeke. Although I guess if I used the weaving in while knitting technique, it wouldn't be too bad.

Sorry about the stirring kids Beth. Hooray for Tyner being almost 6!

What is it about being in bed that makes kids cough? Zeke hasn't coughed all day, and now he's in there practically gagging, he's coughing so hard.

I'm sorry. I was rethinking the red and navy striped ones I was going to do, but the knitting in as you go would definitely be easier. For some reason, weaving in with the yarn needle is awkward and slow for me. Maybe if I had a bent-tip one instead of straight maybe it would be better...

Even with the stripes I do on Gabriel's longies, I only had 4 things to weave in...the CO because it just doesn't look right woven in as I go, the BO, and each side of the graft in the crotch. I did have to go back and trim the ends, but sheesh, that took what 30 seconds? It's easy peasy once you get used to it.

I hate weaving in ends. I have a hard time figuring out where they should go so they aren't visible on the outside.

Hi all!  Busy weekend here, haven't had much time for Pinning but I have been knitting.  I knit myself a hat between last night and today (need to get pics) and I'm at the point of starting the sleeves on Z's newgrange sweater (which I'm putting off b/c I hate to pick up stitches).  I can't believe tomorrow is Monday, I'm not ready Cry

Wow, hooray for a crafty weekend Christina!
Hope it is just post-nasal drip Beth.
You knit the ends in as you go, right Kim?

Babysteps is hard here too, but I could feel myself backsliding when I went too fast. I am trying very hard to pace myself and prioritize. You can do it Kim!

I have to do a little housework at a time since I only have a few hours in the evenings and if I wait until the weekend everything's totally out of control :(

LOL x 100! I totally needed that!!! LOL

It's okay, Kim.  It really didn't belong in this thread, or heck even this forum, but.. um.. I wasn't about to post a new thread in TMPinfo about hoohas and garlic and subsequent overeating.  Or should I? Either it would get some interesting responses, or everyone else will just think I'm weird.  Confused Wink  The garlic thing totally works though!!! DH thinks I'm crazy but he'd rather just take a pill for everything.  He's coming around though, especially since this cure sure beats paying for some weird chemicals that will probably give me some kind of allergic reaction.

/hooha discussion.  LOL  Really, I just like saying "hooha".  HOO HA!
