I just read "Bitter is the New Black" by Jen Lancaster - pretty funny stuff. Brain candy, chic lit.

I'm reading the Farseer Trilogy by Robin Hobb. I'm on the second book, "Royal Assassin" at the moment. (It's fantasy.)

LOL Jan, that sounds so fun!
I'm reading my Ina May again, just because. But last night I was at the midwife's and borrowed a couple others, including "Listen To Me Good - the Story of an Alabama Midwife" which is about Margaret Charles Smith. It was mentioned in the Ina May book and I thought about looking for it, but my MW had it! |

Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenides... a friend lent it to me and I had no idea what it was about
 It has a lot of history in it and it's really interesting so far.

Forsaken-- an as-yet-unpublished book by a friend (and fellow Pin mama!). it's the 2nd book in a series. i'm still on the first page, though-- i usually read while i knit, but i'm doing a lot of colorwork lately, which requires actual thought, so reading isn't really feasible.
