I am unhappy to be the first negative review for this WAHM. I do not make such reviews lightly. I ordered a wrap from Modern Mommy Gear on April 29. It was to be my one and only Mother's Day gift. I accessed the page through a Google search and I did not see the message on the home page that the MMG family was on a vacation for the first two weeks of May and that there was a free shipping coupon. I tried to cancel my order, but it was marked ""in process"" and wouldn't let me.
On May 13 I e-mailed MMG (after Mother's Day - no gift for me!) about my dissatisfaction with the process. The owner basically responded with a ""tough cookies"" but said she would send my package by priority mail instead of parcel post so I would receive it faster.
On May 17, FOUR DAYS LATER, I get a message that my package has finally shipped. It shipped parcel post, not priority post. Maybe I will get my wrap by Father's Day. Maybe.
I understand things happen, especially with a WAHM. I would have been reasonably satisfied if she had a) refunded the $6.59 postage I paid OR b) had mailed the item by priority mail instead of parcel post as promised. The wrap was listed at a good price, but frankly, if I had been allowed to cancel my order back in April after discovering my mistake, I would have paid the $20 more at another site to have received it on time, as promised, and probably with free shipping!

Why can I only give this company a 5? =P
I'm thrilled to have found such a down to earth and helpful company through the internet. I'm military stationed overseas and the owner Robin took a great deal of effort in helping us! We normally have to settle for whomever will ship out here. Not only was the customer service outstanding (she added Armed Forces Europe to the available address!) but after comparing prices with a number of other diapering companies I'm saving 60 dollars in diapering supplies just by ordering from this website, and thats on only 12 diapers!
I'm just getting in the swing of things trying cloth diapers out on my 1 1/2 year old, I won't hesitate to order again with for my little girl due in July. Thank you Robin!
