BAIT & SWITCH - I returned a diaper because of faulty stitching and then I was sent a diaper in the wrong color. I was told too bad, the color is discontinued even though it's available on K's closet. I would recommend purchasing them from K's closet from now on.

I ordered 2 dozen indian prefolds (on sale!!) and a thirsties cover and everything arrived in fabulous condition in TWO business days! This was with free shipping. I'm very pleased and will order from Cotton Babies in the future!

I love, love, love Cotton Babies! Excellent web site: wonderful and diverse web store and lots of very helpful information. My e-mail isn't flooded by advertisements from them and I just love doing business with Cotton Babies. I've purchased many things from their site and am loving my bumGenius 3.0 and Flip diapers!!!

Response time: n/a. I never needed to contact Cotton Babies directly.
Delivery time: 3 stars. I don't know that it's shipping, so much as order processing and handling, that is slow. For large orders (like my first set of 24 bumGenius 3.0 diapers) expect it to take about 1 month from the time you order to the time it arrives at the doorstep. Any time I've had small orders (5 bottles of Odor Remover spray) they have arrived within 5 business days from the time I ordered to the time it gets to my door.
Knowledge: 5 stars. This is why I picked Cotton Babies over the others. They walk you through the cloth diaper process and how their diapers work. It's all right there on the website, to read at your convenience.
Return Policy: 5 stars. I love their no-fuss returns policy. They really stand by their product. I had to return 11 diapers because the front fabric strip frayed until it came apart at the seam. They sent me an email when they received the diapers, when they processed them and when they shipped out new ones. I don't mean re-sewn/repaired diapers-they sent NEW ones!
Overall Customer Service: 5 stars. They stand by their product, don't argue with you when you have a problem, and they help in any way they can: from educating me on the pros and cons with cloth diapering, to full set instructions on how to use cloth diapers and they show what the parts of the diapers look like.
Summary: Although the delivery time gets 3 stars, I think patience is a factor. If I had been notified to expect it to take a month, that would have bumped it to 4 stars. Granted, they may not always know it's going to take that long.
In my experience, I have had to keep in mind that there are 3 factors involved when doing business: Time, Quality and Price. I, the customer, only get to pick 2. Since the Quality is Excellent and the Price is Very Good, then I expect to wait (Time) a while to receive the products I order. Good things take Time to make! I

Our family loves Cotton Babies. We live in the St. Louis area, so we took advantage of the free classes they offer on a variety of topics, including Cloth Diapering 101, Birthing Options in the St. Louis area, and Babywearing 101. The classes are very informative, and it's amazing that they're FREE! The retail store is open and inviting, with couches available for a feeding or just a rest, and toys to keep kids occupied while adults shop. Their staff is friendly and always willing to answer questions, offer suggestions, and help in any way they can. They also host great events and giveaways! We get all our cloth diapering supplies from Cotton Babies, and always have good experiences. We recommend them to friends, family, and people we meet at random - anyone willing to listen!

I attempted to place an order through my local cloth diaper retailer using the BG coupon that was issued in the March 2010 digital issue of Mothering magazine. Cotton Babies informed my local retailer that they would not accept the coupon. I emailed the Cotton Babies directly with concerns about them not accepting it and the proposal to submit a copy of my digital subscription invoice to ensure that I was not committing coupon fraud. A day goes by, no response. I receive an email in return stating they must have the coupon from the magazine itself. I respond again, stating that they have done nothing to address any of my concerns listed in the email and asking for a time frame of response. Another day goes by. My second response from them said that my information was forwarded to the marketing director and that the owner was ""very busy"" and that she would have to decide to accept the coupon. 3 days later (for a grand total of 5 days of response time) I still have no other response. I send a final email stating my disappointment in their lack of customer service and finally receive one that says they will allow me to use the coupon but only as a customer service- not across the board for anyone else in the same position.
Yes, BG/CB have quality products, but I am truly disappointed at their brusque replies and lack of customer service. Even mass retailers like Kmart and Walmart try to resolve situations within 3 days of contact, and it took BG/CB five days. Yes, they did offer to honor their coupon, but only after a final email was sent detailing my extreme displeasure and plans to share my less than positive experience with friends/family. This entire experience is enough to make me find an alternative to BG products.

I have nothing but praise for this company! They were prompt with their shipping and the items arrived as expected. I ordered 2 dozen unbleached indian prefolds, a dozen flats, diaper cream, and inserts. Their prices were VERY competitive and they are a pleasure to deal with.
I had an issue with a few threads coming loose on my prefolds and when I called them, they immediately apologized and offered to send replacement ones - I got to keep the ones that were fraying. Their customer service is the best and seem more than willing to help resolve any issues that may arise. I will definitely use this company again!

I honestly would give a zero if I could. I have ordered form alot of online retailers and this is by far the worst company to deal with. The shipping is SUPER SLOW. It seems like no matter what you can never get through to them on the phone and the customer service is horrible. I cant beleive people say they are the top for customer service. I would never buy from here again and would not recommend at all. Also, when you email the company, the turn around time for that is also very very slow. Seems like all their replys are copy and paste. They do not actually reply to your current situation.

This was my first order from CottonBabies and I couldn't be happier.
Prices are better than most for what I ordered and I shopped around for days.
I got an e-mail the very same day I ordered saying my stuff was shipped. I ordered on a holiday weekend and I still got it a day earlier than expected. And shipping prices, IMO were very reasonable.
I didn't have to use customer service but I haven't heard one bad thing about them.
Job Very Well Done, you now have a new repeat customer!
