When I received my flip, I was disappointed. The cover seemed really thin and cheap, and the organic insert was nothing more than a soft prefold-type cloth. However, this has become my favorite cover now because I can trifold a prefold and it doesn't move

Decent diaper, good absorbency, however the insert tends to slide around in the diaper cover. Hard to get on a squirmy baby. 2 inserts work great for nightime and the cover is very generously sized which is nice for chunky babes.

These covers are awesome! Good fit, nice size range and never any leaking/wicking. The inserts are nice. Our fave is the organic cotton, which is super absorbant and soft. The stay-dry insert is great too though! No complaints - great diaper. Bum Genius has done it again!

I love the Flip system. The covers are not bulky at all and the double snap closure helps the top of the diaper to lay flat at baby's waist. The stay dry inserts are great; even at the smaller size they are no bulkier than any other one-size diaper.

I LOVE my Flips. They are pretty much all that I use during the day. They're so convenient. I find them really easy to travel with as well. I love both the organic and stay dry inserts. The covers fit great and have never left red marks or leaked.

Really love this cover. I only bought the cover and I use it with flats or prefold and it works amazing. The quality seems good too. I like the snaps better then my thirsties covers. Kinda wish it had leg gussets even though it has never leaked I wonder how it would do with newborn poop. Works great for my toddler! I will be buying more

This has been a great system for us. The disposable inserts work great is not only our flip cover but also the thirsties as well. The cover is really nice the the 2 rows of snaps work great for my newly mobile little one.
The cover is at the top of my preference when I reach for one to go over a prefold, stay dry or fitted diaper.

The cover works great (which is why I gave it 3 stars), but the 'stay-dry insert' was not absorbant enough for my heavy wetter! If I want to use the 'stay-dry insert' I always have to add a doubler. I think I'll stick to my prefolds and Thirsties covers!

This is a great diapering system. I love that you can choose between the three different types of inserts. We use this diaper mainly for when we are on the go. They stay in the diaper bag so we can just grab the bag and go. They are much more trim than the bumGenius 3.0 that we use at home (that we love) and perfect or traveling. It is very quick and easy! Never had a leak, rash or blow-out problem.

These were my first cloth diaper and they are perfect except for one thing. The elastic is CRAP! After about 6 weeks of use, there was hardly any bounce left in it. Cotton Babies replaced them no questions asked, but now my new ones are getting loose again. I love everything else, the fit, the price, the colors, etc.
Oh, and the organic inserts is WAYYYY better! It fills out the cover and absorbs so much more. The microfiber was to skinny for the cover, shifted, and got stinky easily.
If you don't mind paying $2 to replace them every couple of months these are a great diaper. Cotton Babies, please please improve your elastic!

I love my flip diapers!! I love that it's a os. I had purchased one other diaper 'system' and I had leaks and the Velcro started to come off after a few washes :( what attracted me to flip was the choice of disposiable (for trips) or cloth. I have yet to try the disposiable, but am more then happy with the cloth (both organic and regular). I have yet to have messes come out, where with disposiables I had at least 1 a day! The colours are cute as well (I'd like to see more of the bumgenius colous; orange). The Bly thing is it is hard to find somewhere, where the offer unisex colours in a pack (so they can be used in the future despite the sex). I can't say how pleased I am with this product!

These diapers have quickly become the first ones I grab! The fit is great, and they are super cute. I'm glad they came out with some more colors too! I didn't wash the covers 6 times like recommended...I think maybe 2 or 3 times, but I didn't have any problems with bleeding colors. I think I've only had one blowout and it wasn't even that bad compared to the disposables I used to use. I can see making improvements in the future (snap to hold insert in place, extra leg gusset), but I'm very pleased with them so far!

Can't attest to the quality of these yet because they don't fit my 9.5 lb one-month-old. When snapped at the smallest setting they are way too tight at the waist, but on the next waist setting, they leave huge gaps in the leg area.
I'll update this review once they fit!

The price is for 2 covers and 6 stay-dry inserts.
I LOVE this diaper. I decided to cloth diaper my 6 month old and was overwhelmed with all the choices. I was at the only store in my town that sells cloth diapers and the owner reccomended this system. I wasn't sure if I was going to even like cloth diapering so I wanted the easiest way possible and these diapers are exactly that. They haven't leaked yet and they fit my son amazingly. He is 22lbs and he is on the 2nd rise where as the groBaby diaper he is on the largest size and they *just* fit(but that's a whole other story). I didn't know I was supossed to wash the covers 6 times and while I had one of my happy heiny inserts turn a little blue nothing else in that load had any blue staining. I hate my happy heiny diaper anyways. If you are new to cloth diapering this should be your first purchase.
Only con is the color selection. I hope they come out with some more colors soon. Now that I know what works and what doesn't the Flip diaper system is going to make up the bulk of my stash. Next week Im buying the day pack in ""ribbit"" and another ""moonbeam"" day pack.

This is hands down my favorite night time diaper! We use the organic cotton insert and both of my kids (17 months and 3 years) can wear this diaper for 12 hours at night with no leaks. Plus, the organic cotton is so soft.
The covers fit great and the tabs have great stretch to them in order to get the best fit. I love them!

This diaper fits great...it's so trim I can put it on under anything. I am a big fan of BGs in general; similar absorbancy to the AIOs for the MFs
I do wish it had some way to secure the insert, maybe a snap....it is ia bit awkward to get the diaper on without the insert slipping around.

These are a great daytime diaper. The covers fit so well and the diapers are really nice and trim. They're a great way to build up a stash of stay dry diapers for cheap. Also, I didn't bother with washing the covers 6 times- no dye bleeding here.

I absolutely love these diapers. I have been using the Stay dry since my daughter was 6 weeks old. They have fit her very well since the beginning. They had the normal bulk of a CD at first but as she has gotten bigger, they are quite trim-and she is only 3 months right now. She has always been a very skinny baby and they have always fit her well. I have only had 1 or 2 leaks with these diapers and it was BM. But when I would disposables and another CD she would have blow outs all the time! She wears them overnight (12 hrs) and have never had a leak overnite! I really cant do anything but sing their praises. I will never use another system. The inserts clean really well and the covers can be reused when its just pee and sometimes with BM. i have 18 inserts and 8 covers and i was about every other day to every third day.

I love these diapers! We use the Stay Dry version. They are very trim and extremely absorbant. I can get away with just one insert at night but use 2 because it was always soaked in the morning, but I never had a leak with just one insert!
My son is still on the second rise at 7 months and there is still room to grow in on that rise compared to other diapers where he was already on the unsapped rise.
The only problem I encountered was when we double up at night. When folding both the inserts to be on medium it bulked the front up so much that we ended up leaving it unsnapped, but that created leaks. My solution was to fold one insert over the bottom one and fold the bottom insert in the back so it created equal bulk all over the diaper. I think that solved the leakes, but since he sleeps in fleece jammies I'm not positive. I also bought a fleece soaker to put over it because I'm tired of occasional night leaks that happen with any diaper.

I love this diapering system! We've used mostly pockets and decided to give the Flip a try as I was looking for something that would be easy to travel with. The covers are fantastic and have not had any leaks and they've contained a number poop explosions. We use the stay-dry insert which works great. It doesn't seem to have the same stink issue that I ran into with the Bum Genius 3.0 inserts and they are very absorbant. At night I add a Joey-Bunz and my daughter can go 12+hours. While I give the reusable system a 5, the disposable inserts I would rate a 3. They slide around a lot and are hard to keep in place and the absorbancy isn't as good. They are passable, but if I had to use them for more then two days, they would drive me crazy. The only other con is that the color selection for the covers is limited. However, the system overall is great!

I love this system! It is a one-size adjustable snap cover with 3 types of inserts: stay dry (microfiber and suedecloth), organic cotton (this is a multi-layer knit rectangle with stitching for folding), and disposable. I've tried the stay-dry and organic cotton. They are trim, absorbent, cute, and easy to use. Just lay in the insert, snap on cover, and go.
The organic cotton insert is the most absorbent insert out there and can be used at night with absolutely no leaks (I use a suedecloth liner on top of it for dryness). Because it is folded it only needs one cycle in the dryer.
The stay-dry insert is quick, easy, practical, and trimmer. However, with my little guy, I have to fold down the top, so it's a little bulky.
The cover fit is superb.
My son is 2-months old and is EBF. It usually contains all the EBF poop, but if he has a blow-out type, occasionally a small amount leaks out at the leg. The poop always gets on the cover, but if he just pees, the cover is good to go again. I have 7 covers, which last 2 days and many inserts (22). I anticipate needing less covers as he gets older.
The only con: not enough colors!

After cloth diapering for almost 3 years I have finally found my favorite cover! Better than the Bummis Whisper Wrap and WAY better than Thirsties. From the makers of Bum Genius comes a great fitting onesize cover. Quick drying, light weight, very durable and has SNAPS. Perfect cover. I highly recommend it and if you use the inserts for it, the fit is extremely trim. Very affordable for such a great cover. No leaking problems after 2 months! You must try these Flip Covers!

As the owner of a cloth diaper retail business, I wanted to test this diaper out on my own child so that I am as knowledgeable as possible about the product with my customers. So far, I really love it.
I purchased the Flip Stay Dry Individual Package with an extra Stay Dry insert. This one-size cover with insert functions as an all-in-two diaper, in which the insert can be replaced and the cover can be wiped out and reused. (In addition to the Stay Dry insert, organic cotton and disposable insert options are also available.)
I found the fit on the cover to be really trim, even better than the bumGenius 3.0 fit that I love. The design is a lot like the bumGenius Organic AIO, but there are leg gussets to hold the insert in place. There are two rows of snaps around the waist and a three snap rise. The fit is a little different than that of the AIO, though, so you may need to snap in a different location around the waist than you do if you also have the AIO.
The Stay Dry insert looks a lot like typical microfiber inserts. The difference here is that the top layer is suedecloth to keep baby dry and keep the microfiber away from baby's skin. I have found the insert to work really well - it is really absorbent, and in spite of my reservations, it really hasn't shifted around at all. We have used this insert during the day and naps; because I have a heavy wetter, we are going to stick with our pockets stuffed with a SuperDo at night.
So far, the only thing I haven't liked about this diaper is that you need to prep the covers by washing them SIX TIMES separately before using them. When I asked Jenn at Cotton Babies about this, she said they found some of the stretchy tabs on the covers were bleeding, so this eliminates that problem.
Overall, this is a really great diapering system. Super trim, easy to travel with because it doesn't take up nearly as much room in my diaper bag, and it is a great fit on my twelve-mon
