This is a great product and has worked well for my little one. She is nearing 6 months and pretty sizable and the sizes ones still fit great. I have been using them with Chinese prefolds and we have had minimal wetting issues. I do only use these during the day, however, not for napping or nights. They are also super easy to care for, coping well with washing and when my husband puts them in the dryer on high!....oops

The Thirsties Duo Covers are really great covers. I switched over to these from the sized Thirsties covers and I like them much better. I can use the same cover for my 8 month old and almost 3 year old. They fit trimmer and are better for trifolding.
Pros: Cute prints! Trim fitting.Strong aplix.Leg gussets.
Cons: Not sure how well made these are. I have had to send two back to Thirsties in the past few months to be replaced. The tabs where the aplix are get pilly and I've noticed other spots in the cover getting pilly as well.

I LOVE these diaper covers! We have had almost no leaks or blowouts with these. The colors and prints are bright and stay that way. I love the double leg gussets. They do not leave red marks on my chubby baby. The only con is that the size 1 do not seem to go as high weight-wise as they say. We used them until about 14-15 lbs and then moved on to size two. However, the size 2 fit my 16 lb baby and my 2 year old who is 35 lbs. So they will last until the end size-wise. We use them at night also and they stay dry with my 3 month old son who sleeps 9 hours at a stretch. I highly recommend these diaper covers.

I think this is a great cover overall. It is very versitile and friendly to the budget. My first four covers I purchased from the online Thirsties outlet and I purchased eight more from Nicki's Diapers four months later.
PROS - 1. with only two cover sizes it is nice on the pocketbook
2. covers soften up over time
3. covers are quite trim
4. colours stay bright and nice
5. rarely have a blowout with either son's diapers
6. velcro closures give a cozy, perfect fit
7. no issues with leaking or smells
CONS - 1. velcro can cause pilling of cover fabric
2. I've had some trouble with the PLU loosening or bubbling on three out of twelve covers. But at this point it hasn't made a difference in odor lock in or wetness. I'm not convinced this is a manufacture defect either. I may have my water temp set too high. Still troubleshooting with this.
3. poo stains on the leg gussets, but one really has to expect this over eight months of use (and it is the only diapering system I use for two boys)

I did not like these covers. I could not get a good fit and I hated the way the tab part comes down so low on the thighs. It left red marks and limited his mobility. They feel flimsy and cheap, and I don't like that they leak through the velcro.

I am using the size 2 on my 4-month-old on the smallest setting during the day and the medium setting at night. It's a good cover, it works very well against leaks. I have the snap version so no worries about scratching or snagging--love that it comes in snaps and in pretty colors too. I am not crazy about the Thirsties signature fit, which is why I'm giving it a 4 instead of a 5, but it's a good cover that does a good job at a good price.

We love our Thirsties Duo Wrap, just as much or more than our sized Thirsties covers! We have been using it for several months now and as with all of our Thirsties covers, we have never had a leak! The fit is great and the size 2 will easily fit our little one all the way thru PL'rng. I highly recommend these wraps to anyone!

At 15.75 lbs, my daughter is just now outgrowing these after 6 months of very heavy use (we rotated two thirsties with two dappis as back up). The velcro is very slightly frayed from the few times where I forgot to close it before washing but other than that they've held up very well. Initially we had problems getting poop stains out of the elastic bindings but that resolved over time with repeated lauderings (I soak in hot water over night, wash with bleach and line dry). We had just a few leaks when she was very small but none at all for the past several months!
If you want to cloth diaper on a budget, you can't do any better than three of these plus a couple of dozen indian prefolds plus two snappis.

I love the colors, my baby is outgrowing size 1 and he is 4 months and 14lbs, they will still fit over an infant prefold, but we have to put him in a size 2 at night if we need extra absorbency. Overall a good cover, I don't have to worry about leaks, but the velcro does rub on his tummy if he's in the size 2 because they are a little large on the smallest setting.

Favorite cover!
Perfect for a tri-folded prefold.
Sizing: DD is 23 lb and the smallest size 2 setting still works perfectly for her. I think that people have problems with these fitting because they're not using trim diapers underneath. These will fit your baby according to the weight guidelines IF you used a properly sized diaper underneath. If not, they won't. Try GMD sized prefolds.
Fit: Trim, she hardly ever gets red marks. The secret? Pull the tabs up and then angle them down onto the velcro. She has a very narrow waist and it helps to get the diaper tight enough in the waist and not too tight in the legs.
The only problem I notice is that the waist curls under if I don't pull the center part of the wrap up high enough.
Function: These just do not leak. Period. I can always rely on them to do the job.
Cuteness: I think they're adorable - love the colors and the white accents.
Quality: You just have to be careful with the snaps when you're undoing them - I really wish they would have reinforced them and also put something over them so that they don't touch baby's skin.
If you're on the fence, I doubt you'll be disappointed with these. Try orange edge/ yellow edge GMDs for size 1 and yellow edge/ red edge GMDs for size 2. Don't be tempted to unsnap the rise too quickly - the cover stretches and will provide a trimmer fit if you leave it snapped as long as possible.

This is tied for my favorite cover! I love Thirsties covers so when I was pregnant with our third child I bought 3 in size 1 and 2 in size 2. They have not disappointed, the colors are bright and the covers have never leaked. I do really like how trim they are too, I think probably even more trim than the sized covers. That does come with a negative which is why I gave them 4 instead of 5 stars. The size 1s will in no way last to 9 months or 18lbs. My 2 month old is 11lbs and is on the unsnapped setting on these covers already, I do not see them lasting 7 more months or 7 more pounds. This also had an advantage as he was a very small newborn and when we started cloth he was 6lbs even and they fit wonderfully on the small setting. So it could be a benefit or a drawback, depending on how big/small your babies are

My boyfriend and I started using things on our daughter as soon as her umbilical cord stem fell off. We love them because they're thin and, for being able to fit her longer, they're not bulky at all. This is our first baby and so also our first time using cloth diapers. These covers are incredibly easy to use and work well with our Chinese prefolds. No leaks so far, easy to wash, and the leg gussets really help keep everything in. Also, the colors are bright and very nice looking!

I had used the Regular Sized Thirsties and loved them so I was very excited when these came out. I bought size 2 for my DD. Unfortunately, she's not anywhere close to outgrowing them and one cover has the velcro strip at the front coming off (could be sewn back on I'm sure, but still it's come almost totally unsewn) and another has a hole in it where the snap adjuster has pulled through. They do keep in messes just like the other Thirsties, but I am disappointed that out of 3 covers only one is still in good condition after 6 months of what should be usable for a longer period of time. Also noticed that the smell does not come out of these as well as it did the other Thirsties. :(

I bought these covers for my 4 month old when he was 16 lbs, and although they are for 18+ lbs, they fit great. The leg gussets are great and prevent leaks, and the fabric is thin so it doesn't bunch. They dry very quickly and are easy to wash. And the colors are so cute! My only concern is tearing the fabric when undoing the snaps, because of the thinness of the fabric. It hasn't happened yet, but I can see how it could happen easily if you aren't careful.

Best diaper cover we have, and I've tried them all it seems! I didn't worry about the sizing running small (did my research ahead of time) because I trust the Thirsties name. Green Mountain Diapers also fully discloses that they believe the size 1 covers only go to 15lbs instead of 18lbs but that's not really a big deal to me. I got these covers for my 22lb skinny DD and they fit her on the small setting over a trim diaper or on the medium setting over a higher rise diaper for naps/nighttime. We've yet to have a leak with our Duos, including when daddy forgot to change a diaper before bedtime and she went to bed for 12 hours in a single hemp prefold under a Duo. It kept it all in, despite how sopping wet the prefold was! I have some ready for our upcoming newborn and I just ordered more for a friend who started CDing 2 days ago.

I got three of these wraps in size Two to use on my baby and toddler while he potty trains. They are excellent!
They fit both of my children very well! On the smallest setting they accommodate my baby's chunky thighs while still fitting her petite body...the way there Velcro closures are it allows for ""cross over"" to accommodate the small or small waisted baby. On the largest setting the accommodate my toddler and provide outstanding leak protection even while he is running, jumping, and playing.
I love the thin material-it's thin but very durable and their unique leg gussets have offered superior leak protection. We've been using them over three months and have never experienced leaks, not even while using them overnight. The snaps don't pop apart accidentally, and I love the bright colors available. They're easy to wash and dry very quickly.
They also accommodate all sorts of fitted diapers very well, including THiRSTiES' fab fitted and Kissaluvs fitted Marvels.
I really like that they're made in the USA and are VERY reasonably priced!

I love this cover! Our favourite store recommended this based on our baby's size and shape. We use prefolds and this is the ONLY type of cover we use in our daystime stash. After trying everything else, this wrap has proven to be practically custom made for my chunky little guy. He has a small waist and really chubby thighs and the wrap is great on him. We've never had a BF poo leak and there are never red marks on his legs. The genius is in the leg gussets and the elastic at the back holds everything in. We once had a poopy label, but it all stayed in the cover! Not all stores carry this cover in Canada, so we were really happy to find a local one that does!

I really wanted to love this cover, but within the first 5 or 6 times I used it I noticed that one of the rise snaps was pulling through the pull even though I never messed with it. It's not like I was unsnapping it every time I used it. What's more, after a couple more uses I noticed that one of the other rise snaps (one that has never been used) was leaking! I never even snapped that snap, much less pulled it too roughly or anything else.
The problem is that the pull on these covers is very thin and the snaps are not anchored in the slightest. I would recommend the blueberry coverall instead. The pull feels a little thicker and all the snaps are anchored with an extra layer. They cost a lil more but it is worth it for them to last more than a month.
Flaws aside I found the fit to be very good. It is trim enough for pants and gives good coverage on all my fitteds and inserts. I liked the cut of the cover and would buy again if only they would fix these very important design flaws.

I have always loved Thirsties covers, especially with the version 2 improvements. This goes one step beyond. All the great features of the original covers, but now in ""almost"" one-size. My son has been big since birth, so at around 3 or 4 months old I bought him some size 2's. He was around 17 lbs when I first started using these on him and I went straight to the middle setting, so I am thinking these run a little smaller that advertised, or at least you need to size up a little earlier. I can snappi a premium pf or a GMD brown edge under the medium setting, so I do believe these will last to PLing, even for my large baby. If I need more covers in the future, these are the ones I will buy.

I love these covers. They have a leg gusset which controls leaks. We have never had a leak with these covers. the colors are cute and I love the adjustability of them. The only downside is they don't fit up to the specified weight range the company provides. The size one states it fits 8-18lbs and my son is starting to outgrow them at around 15lbs. so they run small. But that is my only complaint

These are great covers. The velcro holds well. The legs don't leave marks on my son's thighs. They are nice and trim under clothing. Easy to put on and easy to adjust. Great for covering a fitted or for trifolding a pf. It has contained everything for us and washes up nicely. I haven't had a leak yet. We have the size 2 and I anticipate it fitting well through PLing. I highly recommend these covers!

I bought this cover (3 of them actually) thinking they'd be good to use on days I wanted a change from a wool cover. Sometimes it's nice to just trifold a prefold and lay it in a cover. But this cover did not suit our needs and I have been disappointed. I have tried it over fitteds as well as snappied prefolds to see if that makes a difference.
Pros: Cheap, nice colors, easy to use, easy to care for.
Cons: no matter the snap setting, the top seems to fold down and the velcro digs into baby's tummy with a sharp edge.

Love this cover! It will be our main stash cover. Very Versatile. Works with almost any diaper type and still has a trim fit. Extremely adjustable sizing, as mentioned in a previous review, these covers are great for hard to size babies, which mine is too. Fits many different baby body shapes. We are using size 1 right now and can adjust the fit to work with bulkier diapers and still not have to worry about leaks, too tight or loose around the legs or a too bulky fit. And these come in great colors.
Cons - velcro is a bit stiff and tends to startle our baby with the noise. One of our covers shrunk in the dryer (I think) but it still works fine. Washing does soften these covers, but make sure velcro is closed on laundry tab because it can fray a little bit. Would recommend air drying.

Now that my newborn fits into his OS diapers well, I have these as backups that I use with my homemade fitteds. I highly recommend these for babies with skinny thighs for parents who don't mind diapering with a prefold/fitted/etc. and cover combination (which could be difficult with a very active and squirmy baby). There are two primary things I like about this cover: the snug fit around baby's thighs; second and the adjustable ""duo"" setting (making these more economical, as you can use them for a considerably wide weight range).
When my baby was ""younger,"" they fit him the most snugly out of all of his diapers and was my diaper of choice because they held just about everything in. Unfortunately, once my baby learned that he loved kicking his extremely strong legs around all the time (including during diaper changes), these became a bit more difficult to use.

I love the duo-wrap. They're my new favorite. The colours are fabulous (no prints, but the pretty colours are good enough for me). I love how trim these covers are - they fit so closely over pre-folds, making them seem less bulky than other covers do. The gussets are also great for my skinny little one's thighs. I've only used the size 1, and haven't needed to use the adjustable rise yet, but anticipate that this will be a great feature when my little one moves up to size 2. My only complaint is that this cover is a little too trim for using a doubler at night time, in which case, I use a regular Thirsties cover (this is recommended by Thirsties).

This diaper cover makes me so happy! I am selling all my other covers at a diaper swap because these are so perfect in every way. I love love love the colors, they are even better than the pictures on the internet. The rose is almost a hot neon red, I love it! I would put it on a boy. The Meadow color is the same color as a Gro Baby kiwi shell. I also have the mango, ocean and orchid. This cover makes me love my sized GMD prefolds and fitteds! These work great pinned or just laid in the cover. Because you can adjust the rise, these work better for laying the prefold in than other covers I've tried.
Like most velcro covers, the front can fold into the tummy, but because these have elastic on the front panel, you won't have as many leak issues. It's probably a bit of user error on my part; figuring out the best snap setting on baby and how to get my prefold or fitted on baby a little better. Unlike other velcro covers, though, these do not scratch baby's belly at all because the velcro is so soft. I have a sized Thirsties cover and the velcro on it (3 months of use) is in better shape than any velcro diaper product I've ever used, and since this velcro looks the same, I am assuming it will wear great. The laundry tabs WORK, it's just great that they've made such a perfect product. I have nothing negative to say at all! My next newborn will be wearing prefolds and the size 1 covers; how great to not have to stress about buying tons of covers at that early age when they grow so fast!
Two thoughts for the Thirsties company:
please make two sized pocket diapers exactly like these, in all cotton!! For the babysitter, grandma, and church nursery. ;-)
And it would be fun to have these available in snaps, even though there are no issues with the velcro at all. These are too cute to cover up in the summer, and I know next year my little one will be interested in pulling her diaper off!

I love this cover! The large fits my nearly 2 year old with lots of room to grow - but the fit is also really trim despite that. The new colours are very cute. I can tell that the Size One would easily fit a newborn with no problems!

I already loved my Thirsties size Medium covers, but would never have dared to trifold or leave a diaper unsnappied/unpinned because it was a tad bit loose in the bum. The size 2 Thirsties Duo fits like a charm - it has the same soft PUL as the regular Thirsties, but fits very trimly on my 23 lb. little man. I intend to buy several more of these (in size 1) next time around!
One thing: I do kinda wish they offered snaps. I'm a little undecided on the velcro - on the one hand, I sew so if it were to ever wear out I'd have no problem replacing it. On the other hand, my little man can open this cover if he wants to, which is the only downside.

This cover is great. I used it on my newborn and it fit really good. She is now 13 lbs and it still fits great. It is the same quality as the original Thirsties Diaper Cover which is awesome.

The Thirsties Duo Wrap is wonderful. I love that it's adjustable, so that it grows with my baby :) Most other adjustable covers and diapers either fit funny when they are snapped to the smaller sizes or they fit funny when they are unsnapped to their largest size. I haven't had any leak problems using this wrap, and even in it's smaller settings it fits like the original Thirsties covers. I definately highly recommend this wrap, it works and it HALVES the number of covers I need to buy from birth to potty training. Considerable savings! I love this product.
