I bought 6 of these diapers because you get a deal in bulk and because I wanted to try cloth diapering with my daughter. I used them for about 6 months before she outgrew them. She was 2 and not the suggested 35 pound limit.

These diapers absorb well. They are great quality

However, the Velcro tabs lose stickiness rather quickly. I've googled everything and nothing I have found and tried changes or fixes it. The tabs are also itchy and bothered first my daughter and now my son.

Crap gets stuck in the velcro all of the time. I was using a comb each wash to pick them out, but it hurts my fingers and even fully clean now, will not stay attached. I could only use them on my infant at night while he was sleeping and swaddled, or they are guaranteed to come undone.

The diapers are trim, and they contain well. But that's where my satisfaction ends.

I CANNOT get this diaper to NOT stink! I even turn it inside-out after my initial rinse- which is a pain- so the microfiber gets exposure to the water. I only have one of these diapers, and it's my most headache-creating diaper. I think I prefer my inserts to be separate so I can wash them really well. The convenience of an AIO isn't worth the stench. ;)

I initially bought the BG AIO's because I heard rave reviews about them and I loved how they looked. They were some of the first CD's I bought and I thought they would be great in helping DH transition. But after a month of leaking, pilling and stained clothes from using the BumGenius alone I gave up on them.
I am aware that most people have great success with these diapers, but we just could not for life of us. Not only could we never find a good fit, no matter what either of us did, (our daughter was 2 months old then and probably all of 12lbs, she is now 8 months and 20lbs). Aside from the leaking because of an improper fit, we got no help from the seller or the people at the bg website.
Another thing myself and DH did not like about these diapers was how cheaply made they were. In the one month in which we used them, the velcro was coming off and most seams were starting to fray.
Due to this problem I was unable to re-sell them, and I bought 12 diapers in one go.
Overall I was very disappointed and because of my experience alone would not recommend.

I LOVE this diaper. It was the diaper that convinced me to keep cloth diapering. It fits my skinner baby girl. It keeps her nice and dry. This is also my husband's favorite diaper. I would recommend this diaper in a second, esp. if you are new to cloth diapering.

Great diaper for on-the go. Fits nice & trim. Pretty absorbent. Has held up well through washes and dries...20 months and counting. Needs a little more wash time for super-poops and the dry time is a bit longer too. All in all A++ for convenience, fit, baby comfort and wear-ability. I would have given it 4 1/2 stars if they had that option. :)

I bought a BumGenius AIO in size extra small to try on our newborn, along with a variety of other AIOs. We LOVE the BumGenius! Our son was born a week ago weighing 7 lbs 6 oz. The BG is one of the few diapers that actually fits him below the umbilical cord and doesn't leak. I'm tempted to buy a bunch more in the XS size just so we have plenty of diapers that fit. We'll definately be using more of them in the bigger sizes.

Pros: fits below umbilical cord
holds a lot without leaking
makes middle of the night changes super easy
nice to not have to bother with inserts or a diaper cover

Cons: does take a while to dry in the dryer

This is a great diaper. I need to say, though-the fit is not very generous for us. I have a chunky monkey 1 year old and she is in a L, and it seems to be cut less generously than other AIOs we've tried. I do like that I don't really have to use any other inserts for daytime use so it is a trim fit under clothes.

This diaper is really great. The fit is the most impressive. We decided to get mostly mediums and a few larges for our robust baby 7 month old baby girl. She is now 15 months old and we can still fit perfectly into the mediums(a 85th precentile big girl). We use a double stuffed large at night...all night,12+ hours, with no leaks. Other then the drying time(we line dry to avoid the dryer) and the wear on the hook and loop, we love our BGs and highly recommend them!!!

I finally decided to purchase the BG AIO 3.0 Lrg. (DS was 8 months and 20lbs) due to the new pocket option. AIO had scared me, as I was not convienced they would get clean enough, or dry fast enough. Plus I very much prefer snaps to hook & loop. But WOW, do I love this diaper. You would not believe how much this diaper holds. And how easy it is to use. NEVER a leak - NEVER! I started with just 2 for my husband - but have quickly added more and have sold others that were not as good to us.

They do have a bit of a dry time, but all my diapers dry at different rates - no biggy, I use pockets if they are not dry. They clean well, I sometimes turn them inside out for a good inner clean. The fit is great - actully the best fitting diaper we have had (my DS is now 14 months and 21 lbs). They amoung my trimest fit. The colors are awesome - the still lool like new.

These are our best diaper, (and we have lots of good ones, pockets, prefolds, fitteds) although I love my stash of many, if I did it all over again I would do all BG, with mostly AIO and some pockets! But I REALLY do wish BG made a snap version too, their Organic has wonderful snaps, I would then have 1/2 snaps, 1/2 hook and loop!

I initially had great success with this diaper. I have followed the washing instructions. I find them easy to use, quick to dry, cute, and they fit my son well. I love that the size can be adjusted from newborn up to toddler. They are virtually leak-free with one glaring exception: the logo tag, and this has gotten worse as my son gets older and has become a heavy wetter. I no longer am able to use these as overnighters - even if I double the inserts, moisture wicks through the tag and wets his clothing and bedclothes. I've done a lot of laundry in the past couple of weeks! I now am using the regular insert and the newborn insert during the day in an attempt to reduce the wicking. It seems that this issue has happened before and has been brought to at least the seller's attention, as inferred by the customer service person at the company from which they were purchased. The problem seems like it should be simple to fix, and since it hasn't, I'm having a hard time recommending these diapers to others - I'm disappointed, even though I would love to love these diapers. Other than the wicking through the tag, they're excellent, but it's hard to be enthusiastic when my son's right side is soaking wet.

I love these diapers. They are super absorbant and very trim. They also fit great and we have never had a leak. They do need to be prepped on hot 6 or more times, and they get more absorbant with each wash.

We originally bought 3 bumGenius 3.0 AIOs for me to use in the diaper bag, but not on a regular basis. After a trip to visit family, I remarked to my husband how I had accidentally gone longer between diaper changes than usual and our baby had filled up her diaper. She was in a bumGenius and HOLY COW! It held it all. No leaks up her back. No leaks at the leg. Nothing. Dry all around! I was so impressed. The next week my husband and I remarked that as soon as diapers were clean, we always picked the bumGenius to use before any of our other diapers (fitted or prefolds + covers). He commented again on how well they contained all the wet and messy and were super easy to use and trim as well. We were sold. I bought 12 more and we LOVE them!
This is our 3rd baby to be in cloth diapers and so far these are the best diapers we've used. We're big fans.

Oh - drying time. We've had to flip them inside out to dry and then flip them right side out to use. It cuts the drying time down significantly and I think is better for the diapers as they're in the dryer heat less.

This is the diaper that brought me over to the dark side. I was formerly an all-cotton type of diapering mama. But I bought these on a lark, and I. LOVE. THEM. They really are both trim and absorbent, not to mention soft, and they don't leak, not even overnight! I've never had to use the pocket to add absorbency, but what I use it for is to turn them inside out before drying, so that they dry in a reasonable amount of time. Again, I. LOVE. THESE. I do worry about the synthetic materials eventually stinking, but I use an additive-free detergent, and if that ever fails, I'm not afraid of bleach. These are some of the best diapers I have ever tried, and I have tried a lot. If all cloth diapers were like these, no one would use disposables!!!!

I have been waiting to post until I had my diapers for a while. I love bumgenius diapers. Using them now for 5 months, I have been nothing but pleased. My husband, mom, and mother-in-law all use them with now complaints. I use diaperwrap liners and have no problem with staining. They are looking a little used these days, but everything still works and is intact. My daughter is average sized and I have never had a problem with fit. Bumgenius makes cloth diapering doable for anyone!

These worked AWESOME, just not very long! My 7.5lb baby outgrew the XS at 10 lb (was supposed to last to 12lb), and outgrew the S at 13.5lb (supposed to last to 16lb). Never had a leak except when diaper cream used once - really have to use liners or no cream with these!!

Tight in the thighs, loose in the waist, short rise but work perfectly for the short time they fit.

This is my second child in cloth, and these are great. We have never had a leak. They are made well, and the customer service is amazing. One of the diapers I bought had a back seam split for an inch and they sent me a new diaper and return packaging, no questions asked.
The only problem is the velcro. If the baby doesn't wear shorts or something, the velcro will leave big red scratches on her thighs. I wish the velcor was surrounded by fabric on the edges, the little hooks stick out and scratch. Otherwise, outstanding diaper

The BumGenius 3.0 AIO is by far my favorite of all our diapers (includes: Fuzzibunz, Swaddlebees, Bumkins, Happy Heiney's, Thirsties Pocket AIO)! I have not had trouble with leaks and they fit my average-build daughter just great. I love that the outer PUL is very soft - softest of all the others I have. The inner suedecloth is soft as well and does not leave ""little fuzzies"" in my daughter's crotch area like other fleece-lined diapers do. They are so easy to use - I can have complete confidence leaving them with the daycare or babysitter and all I have to say is, ""you put them on just like a disposable"". There is no stuffing required or any other thing to fuss with! The only downside to BumGenius is the narrow selection of colors.

I did also buy one AIO organic, which I really can't recommend. The insert bunches up very easily. Because the inner material is cotton it holds moisture next to baby's skin. It takes forever to dry. The velcro comes apart within the first few washes. I could go on, but I'll just say that I don't think it's worth it, especially since it is so expensive!

These are my favorite daytime diapers for outings and daycare. They are so easy and trim since they are sized. I initially liked the organic with snaps better, but over time I've come to realize that I like having a staydry liner against my baby's bum (suedecloth on this diaper) and that while snaps last longer, the velcro is easier for everyone and allows for a more personalized fit.

I wish I had more of these in my stash. I have a mix - some new and some ""seconds"" from Cottonbabies (but no noticeable flaws on those).

I turn these inside out when they are drying and it helps reduce dry time and somewhat to preserve the velcro (as I am not a fan of the bumGenius velcro).

Some of the velcro tips are starting to curl a little bit, but they still stick/hold down strongly. I use these heavily (pretty much every other day) as I said they are my favorite. I'm waiting until she grows into the next size, and then I will sell my old diapers to fund more of these.

We have a half dozen of these and I wish I'd had more in the XS for the newborn stage. I love them! Very trim, absorbent, and contain EBF poop very well. They wash and dry well also. They made great diaper bag diapers as they are easy to put on quickly in busy places and easy for grandparents/sitters/etc. We had the 2.0 version, not the new 3.0, but I'd definitely buy either for future kids. They fit DD (8 lbs at birth) until 7 weeks and about 12 or so pounds.

These are definitely the most reliable AIOs that I own. I have several types and these just hold up and contain messes better than all others. They do hold an odor sometimes, but I think that was from using a free and clear detergent, because I switched to Planet and haven't noticed any more odors. The velcro does tend to wear but letting them line dry occasionally helps. They do take a long time to dry but I find most AIOs do. I have been searching for a perfect diaper, and there just isn't one, they all have some sort of issue. I would definitely recommend these.

I bought this as my first CD. I knew my husband would appreciate the AIO factor. The diaper fits great on my chunky 5 month old, and we haven't had any leaks, even over night. We haven't had to use inserts even at night. The diapers are not, in my opinion, too bulky, even under clothes. My only real complaint is that they take FOREVER to dry. I read the reviews prior to purchase and knew that they took a good amount of time to dry, but it is almost ridiculous, considering I just bought a brand new dryer. If you don't mine the excessive dry time ( a cycle in the dryer plus hanging up overnight) these are excellent when it comes to leaks, fit, and they never leave a mark on my daughters thighs, and she is quite the chunker. I just ordered a few pocket one size diapers to try out. Hopefully they wont take as long to dry!

I bought these from a diaperchange and the shipping was super fast.

I have the organic version and I do like it. It is very well made and I love that it is available with snaps. There are a few problems I have with it. It takes a long time to dry. That wouldn't be a big deal if most of my stash were this diaper, but as it is, I end up drying it an extra time alone and then hanging it to finish drying. For that reason, my husband typically avoids using this diaper at all. This diaper feels very wet as soon as they go and makes them very uncomfortable. For that reason, I only use it at home when I can be sure I can change them as soon as they wet it. It is a nightmare if they have this diaper on and they wet while we are in the car! I do like these more than the bumGenius pocket diapers, simply because of the snaps, but unfortunately, the rest of the family do not feel the same way.

These diapers are nice and trim, absorbant and soft. The organic are softer than the non-organic. I like them for day-time, but prefer the Bum Genius pocket for night time. My son gets a slight rash from the moisture sitting right up against his skin with these that he doesn't get from the pocket diapers.
these diapers have held up very well, though same with all the other diapers I have the laundry tabs don't work as well as they once did. I use a liner to keep them clean but the little bit of solids that gets on them sometimes washes off easily in the sink. They still look like new from the outside though.

I love everything in the bumGenius line, and Cotton Babies is a wonderful company with which to do business. This diaper is absorbent, easy to use, and virtually leak proof. I bought mine as a ""Seconds"" (cosmetic flaws, but none in the function), and it works great. I love that the bumGenius ALl-in-one still has a pocket to add doublers.

The only drawback to all-in-ones is the drying time. I have coin-operated machines and am glad that I do not own more than a few of this type. The others dry much more quickly.
