I really like Wallypop products. They are well made and the materials used are very nice! I have some fleecy wraps, so when I saw a wool wrap on FSOT I snatched it up. Wallypop wool wraps are very well made. The one I have is trim and very stretchy, and the tabs are super stretchy. It works really well and doesn't get really wet even when the diaper underneath is, nor does it leak. I am definitely going to buy another wool wrap for my other son. The price is amazingly low. If you are looking to try wool, this is an excellent way!
I have several of these covers, we use them as our main cover over fitted diapers. The knit fabric is quite soft, and we also have some woven wool covers that are also soft (though not as luxurious as the knit).
They're soooo waterproof, and I love that they came already lanolized. They seem to be holding up to our frequent use just fine.
I bought the wool crepe. It was quite scratchy. It didn't fit my LO well at all. That said, he IS very slender and that probably contributed to the poor fit.
aw, I'm sorry you weren't able to get a good fit. We pride ourselevs on having diapers and covers that fit such a range of shapes and sizes of babies - small to large - but of course, no brand can be a perfect fit for EVERY baby. You might pull it out again in a few months when he's a bit bigger and give it another try.
I love these covers. The fit is better than any of our other covers, and it has never leaked, even with runny breastfed poo that escapes the prefolds. We've been using it on our son since his cord fell off at a week old. I love that it came already lanolized, that makes using wool much easier for a beginner. The price is a nice bonus, too!
