We've been using these since our daughter was 2w old. They fit well and do not leak as long as we make sure to get the velcro nice and tight. However, the velcro is falling apart, the back elastics are loose, and the PUL on some is starting to separate. For an ""eBay diaper"" I should have invested in Beilesen ones. We have eighteen Nubunz, three Bumgenius 3.0 OS, and one Beilesen. The Beilesen and Bumgenius are in tip-top shape despite the frequent washing. I bought all these while still pregnant, and I wish I had held back my enthusiasm for the pretty colours on the Nubunz site and just waited for a BG sale or for the Beilesen ebay lady to get back from vacation.
I wrote Nubunz and inquired about repairs, but got no answer (it has been about 6wks since I asked). I even told them I would be perfectly willing to pay for repairs, but no answer. I understand the business is run by a WAHM and she might get hundreds of e-mails a wk, but if this is your livelihood, hire a person, Jeez! They certainly answered quick enough way back when I was still deciding whether or not to buy.
But I will repair the velcro myself and continue to use the diapers as long as possible. When the elastic and velcro are working properly, these diapers function very nicely.
I bought 2 Nubunz and they didn't last 2w!! Snaps broke on 1 in the first wash and the other in the 3rd wash (I have a snap press so I replaced them). Before 2 weeks where up the PUL separated and peeled from the nylon.
I contacted Nubunz when the snaps broke they where supposed to send me 2 new ones. Two weeks latter still none. Ooops they had a back up on shipping, very busy with a break down at the factory, oh so sorry they'll send them out ASAP. 2w latter none and by then enough time had elapsed from my purchase date that I couldn't open a dispute!
I wouldn't waist money on Nubunz EVER and would NEVER recommend them!!
