I got these when my son outgrew his thirsties and I hadn't bought the next size yet. They work ok in a pinch, but they fit weird (too small in the waist and too poofy in the bum). I wouldn't expect them to contain a blow out that's for sure. These are just my laundry day covers.

First of all, I don't like how they have tabs to fasten the velco to during washes so I make sure the cover is done up before throwing it into the wash.

At the beginning, I thought the cover did a good job keeping my daughter dry, but we just used them recently overnight over a fitted diaper for about a 6 hour period and they leaked! Wetness seeped through the cover and her clothes!

They are ok for a short period of time, but I do not recommend them for overnight.
