I have bought these diapers new and I have bought them used, and NEVER had a complaint. I'm currently scrounging around on the FSOT boards everywhere to find more before our new babe arrives. The fit is fantastic. I have a 22-month-old super-chunk who has been wearing them for over 18 months now, and they have always fit well, through growth spurts and messy-messy diapers. They are REALLY absorbent- to the point where he can go coverless overnight in them now that he's getting ready to potty train. I cannot see these fitting from birth for MOST children, but given my 10.5-pound newborns, they're working just fine. We love them!

I really love this diaper, and would give it 5 stars if it fit better. My daughter outgrew this diaper at 5 months and about 18 pounds. Definitely wouldn't consider this a true one size diaper. Great absorbency, fast drying for a fitted, soft, and it held up well to lots of use, but we didn't get nearly as long a life out of it for our daughter as we had though we would. However, it's still in great shape and I'll use it on future kids.

These diapers arn't bad but they are just ok. They are fine for daytime use, I'm not sure if they'd last us over night. They are stiff as some have mentioned. My main concern is the sizing. My daughter is 9 months, 20lbs and she barely fits these. onesize? Not quite

I have these in bamboo and hemp, and I like them both for different reasons.

I agree with other posters that they don't seem like they will really last through 35 pounds, my 10 month 20 pounder already is a pretty tight fit in the bamboo version. I also agree that these get pretty stiff, and for these reasons I am rating these as a 4 instead of 5. I actually pull on the leg openings to stretch them out a bit each time I use these as they stiffen up so much that I feel like they are cutting into dd's legs and leaving big red marks if I don't loosen them up.

Once I get on them though they do well, and they are some of the best diapers I've used for nights. The bamboo version is very absorbent, definitely more so than the hemp version. We have problems with pockets leaking when she rolls on her side, no worries about that with these. We use them under wool and with a fleece liner at night.

In terms of absorbency I prefer the bamboo, and for fit I prefer the hemp which does not get as stiff as the bamboo therefore seems more comfortable and I don't have the leg problem. I did once change a hemp during the night that was actually dripping wet though, too bad there isn't a hemp / bamboo combo. :)

BBH also makes bamboo and hemp boosters / doublers for these, and I really like the bamboo version. Sometimes I'll change her if she wets just a bit before bed and in that case because of the dual snap in inserts usually the outside diaper part is still dry, so I'll just slap in a booster and that works fine, and actually feels nicer against the skin / less stiff! They also work in pockets but aren't as long as regular inserts so would need to be used in conjunction with something else.

Far and away, the best diaper we have ever owned. We have used BGs, HH, FB & Thirsties and our Baby Beehind (we own 1, and it's in rotation the most) is our favorite.

It is the best night diaper I have used - DS is a ridiculously heavy wetter - and no leaks whatsoever. The diaper may be heavy in the morning but the boy is dry, dry, dry. They're not the cheapest diaper ever, but I can honestly say this was money well spent.

As soon as my tax refund comes, I'm buying enough to replace all the other CDs in our inventory.
